The second in our series of Seasonal small batches, we think this one is really something special. These particular beans from Myanmar when roasted have unusual yet stunning notes of honeycomb, fudge, caramel and orange.
Produced in a state where pesticides are banned, these beans are naturally organic. Shwe Ywar Ngan was created by U Win Aung Kyaw, who has been roasting coffee since 1975. The ‘Godfather’ of the industry, he has been influential in setting up Shan, Myanmar as a coffee producing area.
We think this coffee is particularly suited to a flat white with whole cows milk or oat milk or brewed with an aeropress and served black.
